Isn't it Time to Conquer Your Stage Fright?
Incredible, but true: Most people say they are more afraid of public speaking
than they are of death or financial ruin! Even Johnny Carson admitted to dealing
with stage fright every single night before he hosted "The Tonight Show."
He didn't let it stop him. Don't let it stop you!
He knew what you will learn in Let's Communicate Better: Great communicators
are made, not born. Whether speaking to five colleagues around a conference
table or a room filled with a thousand new faces, communicating clearly, persuasively
and memorably is an art you can learn.
In a 24/7 world, communicating well - on stage or off - is crucial to your
professional success. Polished public speaking and presentation skills will
help you land important accounts, convince management to support your proposal,
win the new round of financing your company needs, improve your professional
standing with employees and peers, and gain increased credibility and stature
as an expert in your field.
Let's Communicate Better has helped hundreds of people - from virtually
every professional background - actually look forward to public speaking!
Workshops are conveniently held at your place of business and can be presented
in two-, one-day formats, depending on your needs and the size of your group.
Content is always customized to your group's training requirements. And in-session
videotape is a useful option to help participants assess performance. Evening
and weekend workshops can be arranged. Individual consultation and speech
coaching are also available.
The two-day workshop is strongly recommended
as it assures that each participant has an opportunity to speak at least four
times and receive extensive individualized feedback. The two-day program allows
participants to prepare and practice their graduation presentation on the
evening of the first day. Part of the second morning is devoted to one-on-one
coaching where participant videotapes are reviewed and critiqued. Videotaping
is a vital part of this process and participants keep their tape for further
review.
